Ladie is slow to trust—it takes her a while to warm up to new people, but once she’s sure, she’s quietly affectionate, happiest curled up on the couch beside her person, or dozing outside on a nice afternoon. She never causes any trouble if left alone and doesn’t need crating. Food gets her attention, and she has a polite way of waiting for permission before meals. She enjoys healthy snacks, but nothing compares to her nighttime peanut butter treat. Toys bring out her playful side—especially if they have stuffing to pull apart. Ladie does best with one gentle, patient person who understands that strangers and commotion are stressful for her. She isn’t possessive and handles routine household life well, but her ideal home is quiet and steady. Other animals aren’t recommended.
