Sunny
AvailableSunny is a young, female Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 1 year and 8 months old, living in Indianapolis, IN. She is medium-sized and has a lovely white or cream coat. She is house trained, spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date.
About Sunny
Sunny was discovered alone near a Goodwill, tucked under a pine tree and making do with the shade she could find. Despite her tough circumstances, her spirit and heart have never wavered. She forms deep bonds with her people, rewarding them with bright enthusiasm and the gentlest kisses. New faces excite her, sometimes a bit too much at first, but she settles in quickly and thrives on connection. Since moving into foster care, Sunny has worked hard to manage her excitement. Early on, she would sometimes jump and nip when overstimulated, but with patient guidance, she's now jumping for joy without the teeth and eager to continue learning. Her playful confidence shines most when she sprints down hallways or out the door, stirring up laughter as she catches even the bigger dogs off guard. Sunny is brave, athletic, clever, and deeply affectionate. She absolutely loves her trusted people and finds comfort snuggling close. She gets along nicely with other dogs but does not do well with cats. If you’re looking for a young dog with energy and resilience who’s ready for a loyal bond, Sunny may be what’s missing in your life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
