About Vada
Vada’s history tells a tough story, but you’d never know it from the way she embraces life now. Rescued from neglect and cruelty, she arrived underweight and shut down after a life spent mostly caged and used for breeding. Despite her rough start, Vada has transformed into a vibrant, happy dog eager for new experiences. She needs a family willing to introduce her to the world with patience and a guiding hand—she thrives when someone else takes the lead, as she is more of a gentle follower than an alpha. Vada is crate trained and fully house trained, with a deep love of food that makes training fun and productive. She knows how to sit politely and keeps learning new tricks with her foster mom. Rolling in the grass and discovering toys are her simple pleasures. She enjoys meeting other dogs but would need a slow introduction to canine siblings. Leash manners are a work in progress but improving quickly. She’s good for baths, did well at the vet, and loves riding in the car. With Vada, everything is an opportunity to learn and love. Give her the home and freedom she’s been waiting for—she’ll give you all her heart in return. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
