Kovu arrived to the shelter in need of some t.l.c. He has been on a special diet and some medications to help with his itchy skin and he looks and feels so much better!! Kovu is so handsome and loves belly rubs and pets. He loves his outdoor time. Kovu has not been neutered therefore will need to go into a home on foster basis. Dogs that are not yet spayed or neutered are available for "Foster-to-Adopt." Please note: We only offer fostering to individuals in and around Nevada County. Our foster-to-adopt program is for dogs awaiting their spay or neuter. During this period, you’ll foster until their spay/neuter surgery is complete, after which the adoption becomes official. Adoption fee is $125.00. Sammie’s Friends dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and are up to date on their flea, tick and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
