True to form, Lady is gentle, sweet, and happiest when she’s snuggled up beside you watching your favorite TV show. Lady is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. She is currently heartworm positive, but she is undergoing treatment through GDRST and will be heartworm free. She’s well past the crazy teenage phase and has a calm, laid-back personality that makes her a joy to be around. She has lived successfully with dogs of all sizes—from fellow Great Danes to Chihuahuas—and does wonderfully in a multi-dog home. Cats are unknown. Lady would thrive in a peaceful, low-key household rather than a rambunctious one. She enjoys leisurely walks and relaxed days. Lady adores children who are 8 years and older and would be a perfect companion for a retired couple or anyone looking for a quiet, loving best friend. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
