Baby

About Baby
Baby started out as a stray, The Oklahoma City shelter had to trap her because she was so terrified. She shut down at the shelter and would just hide in her corner, until rescue became her last shot. When she first arrived in foster care, Baby was so scared she wouldnât take treats or make eye contact. Over time, with patience and steady care, she learned she could trust people. After her quarantine, Baby joined the household dogs and they ended up teaching her a lot. She's now a fan of cuddling in bed, plays with the other pups in the yard, and is both house and crate trainedâshe even goes willingly to her crate when asked. Leashes are still tough for herâlikely because of how she was caught at the shelterâbut sheâs learning to walk with a harness at her own pace. Baby still needs an adopter committed to ongoing socialization and confidence building. Another calm, friendly dog in the house would help her feel secure, as that's how she's learned best so far. Only homes in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, or nearby areas are considered. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
