Meet sweet GUS! This 2-year-old (DOB 11/20/23) large mixed breed boy is 91 pounds of lovable cuddle bug! He is such a wonderful boy who unfortunately had to come back to WAG recently because he was no longer able to live with the cats in his home without hurting them. So, he needs to go to a home now that does not have small animals. He does well with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. Since coming back to WAG, all the volunteers have fallen in love with the big guy. He is also good with kids. He used to love to go to the ball field and play with all the kids at ball practice. He has made some doggie friends since being back at WAG and plays well. He knows simple commands and is brushing up on his leash commands. With a confident handler, he does really well on leash. Oh, and one more thing.... he IS housetrained too! He knows how to be a good dog in a home. He will just need time to learn YOUR expectations in YOUR home. You really need to come meet GUS! He is such a sweetheart and really needs to get back into another home as soon as possible. He deserves as much love as he had in his previous home. But needs a home where he's not tempted by small animals like cats and therefore can control his prey drive.
