About Monkey
Monkey is part of the lively Howlers litter. He’s the second biggest of his siblings, carrying a large frame and a goofball attitude. Born November 7, 2025, Monkey is true to his Scorpio roots—tenacious, sometimes stubborn, and always seeking adventure on his terms. He’s figuring out house manners and has picked up sitting politely for meals with the help of treats (food motivates him deeply). At his latest check-in, Monkey weighed 53 lbs, putting him solidly in the large puppy camp. Monkey gets his energy out with regular play and three walks a day. He’s already leash savvy and enjoys taking in the scents on strolls. He spends nights either in the bed with his foster mom or in his crate if needed—he’ll wear a wrap at night to prevent accidents and holds it until morning unless the rest of the pack wakes him up. Throughout the day, his routine is dialed: out after any nap or every hour, straight to his designated potty spot. On recall, Monkey’s getting there, especially if there’s a treat in your hand—unless he happens to be mid-water play. Socially, he fits in with everyone. He enjoys roughhousing with dogs of all sizes and ignores the house cats. His gentle, playful nature makes him a favorite with children too. In his foster home, they jokingly call him "Laser" (or even Could-you-B-Lazy-er), hinting at his love for comfort when the action winds down.
