About Timber

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Timber, a sweet and spirited Coonhound/Great Dane mix who brings the energy of a puppy in an extra-large body. Born under the enthusiastic sign of Sagittarius, Timber is always ready for adventure and fun. At around one year old, this neutered male tips the scales at a sturdy 76 lbs and still carries all the goofy exuberance of a young pup. His golden and cream coat is short and easy to manage, complementing his big, lovable personality. Timber is playful, silly, and just a little bit clumsy—he'll keep you laughing with his antics. While he knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” he’s still working on polite manners, especially on leash. He’s eager to please and responds well to consistency, patience, and positive guidance. Timber needs a confident, physically capable adopter who can match his strength and provide the daily training, structure, and exercise he requires. A tall fence is a must, and continued work on leash skills and impulse control will be key to harnessing his potential. This fun-loving boy is full of life and ready for a home that will commit to his ongoing training and need for plenty of movement and mental stimulation. Timber’s adoption fee is $500, and he’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, and protected against heartworm and tick-borne diseases. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
