About Timber
Timber is a striking five-year-old neutered mantle Great Dane who arrived at Big Hearts for Big Breeds with his younger brother, Oak. Surrendered when their previous family could no longer care for them, Timber has adapted with grace, slowly finding his footing in his new foster home. He can be a bit reserved at first, but once he relaxes, his soft side comes out—revealing a loving and loyal companion. Timber bonds nicely with people, does well with kids, and is comfortable around other dogs. His calm demeanor extends to having lived peacefully with chickens, though pigs are off the table for him. His interactions with cats remain untested. Currently, Timber is thriving on his own, separate from Oak, and gaining confidence every day. Timber is the type who quietly gravitates toward his chosen humans, ready to shower them with affection once trust is built. He is an ideal match for anyone seeking a gentle, steadfast shadow in their home. Born January 31, Timber is an Aquarius—often known for a quirky, loyal spirit. Ready for a fresh start, Timber waits for someone willing to give him the steady, loving home he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
