About Lexi
Lexi made it out of Downey shelter and is thriving. She’s a roughly 16-pound Chihuahua and terrier mix with a short coat, around two years old, and full of life. She’s healthy, alert, and already knows how to make people feel welcome. Lexi’s sociable with everyone—big dogs, small dogs, and all kinds of people. When she’s out on walks, she handles herself calmly and doesn’t react to other dogs, just enjoying her time out. Playtime is Lexi’s specialty. She loves goofing off with her foster siblings and will keep herself occupied with any toy you throw her way. There’s an obedient side to her, too—she’s eager to please and quick to pick up the rules. She’s affectionate and isn’t shy about showing gratitude, always ready for attention or a cuddle. Lexi is house trained and learns family routines quickly, making her an easy fit for a home. She’s playful, sweet, and steady—easy to love, even easier to keep happy. She also gets along with children and other dogs. Your new best friend is just one click away.
