Cranberry — A Mama Who Fought So Hard Cranberry is a 5-year-old girl with tender eyes and a heart that has carried far more than its share of pain. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate — the kind of cat who leans into your hand as if she’s been waiting a long time to feel safe again. When Cranberry came into rescue, she was very sick while caring for her newborn kittens. Despite struggling through illness, vet visits, and recovery, she never stopped trying to be a good mama. She fought with everything she had. Tragically, her kittens did not survive — a loss that was completely out of her control and left her alone after giving so much of herself. What’s remarkable is that Cranberry didn’t let heartbreak harden her. She is still loving. Still trusting. Still ready to give her whole heart to someone who chooses her. Now that she’s feeling better, Cranberry is ready for a home where she can finally rest, be cherished, and receive the care she’s always given to others. Cranberry will need a family who can help her maintain a healthy diet, as she has a little extra weight and a big appreciation for food. In return, she promises endless affection and quiet companionship. Cranberry has already survived her hardest days.
