About Optimus
This could be the start of something paw-some. Optimus is a handsome black Domestic Short Hair who hasn't always had it easy, but his life has taken a turn for the better since entering the rescue. Now enjoying the comforts of a foster home, he’s thrilled to spend his days surrounded by both feline and canine friends. With his unique cauliflower ear, a memento from his time outdoors, Optimus shows extra character and a truly charming appearance. While this ear may make him slightly more susceptible to infections, it causes no trouble or special upkeep—just a permanent piece of his story. Wet food is his top delight, and you’ll instantly have his heart if you treat him to his favorites. Optimus also adores playful moments with catnip toys and feather wands, though he can be a bit shy when meeting new people. Given a little patience, he’ll reward you with gentle squeaks for attention and an impressively loud purr from his silky, short coat. Though not the snuggliest of cats, with the right feather toy, he’ll happily join in interactive play and bring much joy to your home. All he asks for is a loving family and a cozy spot to call his own—could that be with you? Start your journey together! Apply now.
