About Juju
Juju’s world revolves around humans. Adopted as a kitten and attached to his person for years, he’s now eight and back at the rescue after his adopter’s passing. Shelter life baffles him; he seeks out company, always wanting to be in the thick of whatever’s happening at home, whether you’re reading, cooking, or just relaxing. Juju is a talker, social and eager to bond, and he’ll follow you around to make sure you’re never alone. He naps high up and has the classic tabby biscuit-making routine down pat. While Juju sometimes plays, he cares more about having someone close than chasing toys. He expresses his anxiety with overgrooming and chewing plastic, which is managed with a prescription calming diet and daily fluoxetine. A peaceful, quiet home where someone is present most of the time would do wonders for his well-being, and it’s possible he may not always need medication. Juju does best as a single pet and prefers not to share his home with other cats, dogs, or children, as he truly thrives in a low-stress adult household. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and house trained. If you understand the depth of a cat’s attachment and want a loyal, chatty shadow, Juju is ready for his next forever. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
