Juju
AvailableJuju is a large adult male Domestic Short Hair with a beautiful brown tabby coat. He is house trained, has been neutered, and all his vaccinations are up to date. Although he does have some special needs due to anxiety, he would thrive in a calm environment with a patient and understanding adopter. Juju is currently at Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue, waiting for a loving home where he can be the center of attention.
About Juju
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Juju’s story is filled with deep love, loss, and hope. Adopted as a kitten in 2017, he enjoyed years of close companionship with his person, who was rarely away from home due to health. Juju grew up surrounded by connection and comfort, never truly alone. After his adopter passed away last year, Juju returned to rescue, confused and grieving. Now 8 years old, he’s doing his best in a shelter, but it’s not what he’s used to. Juju seeks out human presence in every moment—whether you’re reading, cooking, or working, he’ll quietly keep you company, chatting, napping beside you, or lending a quirky paw. Talkative and sweet, Juju enjoys high perches for long naps and plays when in the mood. He kneads biscuits with expertise. While calm cats can be tolerated, he really flourishes as a solo companion. Juju has some anxiety, which he expresses by over-grooming and chewing plastic. He’s currently on a prescription calming diet and daily fluoxetine to help, but in a calm, loving home with someone home often, he may need only gentle support. He simply hopes for a quiet life, a warm lap, and a person who truly understands the depth of a cat’s affection. Do you have the peaceful home and loving heart Juju is searching for?
