About Fenway
Fenway is an 8-year-old, medium-sized mixed breed (Pit Bull Terrier and Chow Chow) who gives off a goofy yet gentlemanly vibe. With low to moderate energy, Fenway prefers slow mornings, leisurely walks, and plenty of time napping or sprawled out for a snuggle on the couch. He's mostly house trained, is crate trained though he prefers to have free roam, and does fairly well on leash. Fenway takes time to trust both people and other dogs, and much prefers to be the only dog in his home, with thoughtful and gradual introductions for visitors. He's shown recently that he may be more comfortable with men but, with patience and consistency, will continue to build trust and confidence. Fenway thrives on gentle routines, a calm home, and steady handling—he loves attention, especially if food (such as salmon) is involved. His quirky habits like softly singing when happy and belly-flopping for rubs make him easy to love. Fenway hasn’t been tested with kids or cats, but he’s likely to do best in a quiet home with few visitors or disruptions. This is a dog ready for someone who respects his pace and wants a loyal, laid-back companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
