About Maggie
Maggie is a Shar-Pei mix around 8 months old and weighs in at about 60 pounds. She was found abandoned and underweight in a rural area, but after some good people intervened, she made a full recovery and is now thriving. Maggie has gained a reputation for being exceptionally sweet. She gets along with other dogs and greets every person with affection, though she lets out a bark at strangers before quickly turning into their friend. She’s the watchdog who keeps an eye out, but don’t count on her to bite. Maggie’s favorite activities include chasing squirrels, doing backyard zoomies, watching TV, playing fetch, and tagging along for car rides. She also takes her job as a companion seriously—you’ll never get a bathroom break alone again. She’s fully house trained and quietly settles down in her crate at night. Maggie would be at her best in an active home, especially one with another playful dog or children who appreciate her puppy energy. This dog isn’t just loving; she’s eager to join in and be the heart of a lively household. Click apply to start the adoption process.
