Meet Edna! Edna is a sweet, loving senior girl estimated to be around 8–10 years old, and she has one of the gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. Despite having lived outside for at least eight years, Edna never lost her trust in people. She is extremely friendly, purrs easily, and clearly longs to be back where she belongs—inside, safe, and loved. Edna is front declawed and spayed, and she was being cared for by a kind feeder who looked out for her for years. When that person moved across the country and the new homeowners had no interest in continuing her care, Edna found herself with nowhere to go. Thankfully, she was given a chance at a fresh start. Edna would thrive as a single cat, where she can soak up all the attention and enjoy a calm environment. She may be okay with one or two other easygoing cats, but large, busy multi-cat households are overwhelming for her after so much time on her own. After surviving so many years outside, Edna deserves a soft place to land—a quiet home, a warm bed, and someone who will cherish her for the rest of her life. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
