Meet Brando ! Brando is what we call a true jackpot dog. At just ~1.5 years old and 44 lbs, this handsome pittie mix has already shown incredible resilience-and now he's more than ready for the forever home he deserves. Brando was found abandoned, tied to a pole, with no microchip and no one ever coming forward to claim him. After his stray hold ended, we stepped in to support his devoted finder, who remained committed to ensuring Brando didn't fall through the cracks. From there, Brando's second chance began. Today, Brando is neutered, heartworm negative, and fully up to date on vaccines. He's also dog-friendly and cat-friendly, making him a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. Even better, Brando is house trained and has shown that he is not destructive when left out roaming, a huge plus for an easy transition into a new home. Brando is an energetic, affectionate boy who would love nothing more than a home to call his own-one where he can run, play, and be properly spoiled. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he's included as part of the family. Despite his rough start, Brando's personality shines through with joy, curiosity, and a whole lot of love to give. Any family lucky enough to adopt Brando will be gaining an incredible companion and a loyal best friend. He's ready to turn the page and start his forever chapter-could that be with you? Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
