About Nova
Nova is a 2-year-old Border Collie with more spirit than half the dogs twice her size. She landed at the rescue after life as a stray, and while a full vet check revealed some genetic hurdles—partial vision in one eye and a bit of hearing loss—none of this has dented her enthusiasm. Nova navigates by scent, tackling life’s daily puzzles by nose and sheer pluckiness. She loves people, thrives on attention, and toys are her constant companions. True to her breed, Nova always seems ready for a new adventure and never lets her quirks slow her down. For Nova, a securely fenced yard is a must so she can safely explore and let off steam. Leash walks go well, but her new family will need to keep up with house training; she’s still learning consistency in that department. Right now, it’s still a question mark how she gels with other dogs and cats, so any introductions should be slow and considered. Nova needs a home that understands her differences and can offer patience and structure. She promises deep loyalty for the right person—her blend of unique charm and Border Collie drive make her an unforgettable companion. As a bonus, Nova was born March 1st, which makes her a dreamy Pisces—a sign often known for gentle loyalty. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
