Mistletoe and Holly were surrendered to our shelter last week after their owner was evicted and became homeless. Suddenly losing the only home they’ve ever known has been confusing and scary, but through it all, these two girls have stayed close and continue to lean on each other. Today they went to the vet and received their distemper and rabies vaccines, were dewormed, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. They are both females, around 2–3 years old, and have spent their entire lives together. Because of that bond, we would love nothing more than to see them leave the shelter together Many animals arrive nervous or unsure due to the circumstances they come from, and these girls are no different. With patience, love, and a warm home, they will truly shine.
