Diesel was brought to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a lively, active, goofy boy looking for a home. Diesel is fun to watch in the yard. When a toy is thrown to him, he chases it and then tosses it in the air and plays with it by himself. After he exhausts that toy, he sits and waits for the next one. His leash walking skills are good, and he transfers his interest in toys in the yard to the scents on the trail. His owner stated that he is good with children, although older children would be better suited to him. He loves people and lived with cats. A slow introduction to other dogs would also work best for him. Diesel is a young boy that would fit in a family that is looking for an active dog but one that settles when asked. They will get a companion that is an endless source of amusement and interest. The shelter has an appointment only policy.
