Dallas is a 5-year-old Terrier with a striking brown coat. He started out shy after coming to the shelter due to his previous owner’s inability to care for him, but it's easy to win him over—once Dallas feels comfortable, he leans right into affection and becomes a committed cuddler. In the yard he’ll explore at his own pace, though his real joy is going on walks. He handles a leash well and always seems interested in what’s around the next corner. His previous home taught him to enjoy car rides and even baths, and he's crate trained. Dallas has lived peacefully with both cats and dogs but does best when allowed to meet new animals gradually. He should do well in a family with kids, so long as they understand he needs time and gentle patience as he settles in.
