About Kuga

Meet Kuga. He came from Franklin County Dog Shelter and is more than ready for a home where he can finally settle in. This energetic and fun-loving mixed breed Pit Bull Terrier thrives on adventure—walks, runs, hikes, and active play are his favorite things. Before coming to the rescue, Kuga even competed in a 5K for K9s and placed fifth out of hundreds, showing off his athletic side. After a good burst of exercise, Kuga is content to relax and enjoy a bone, happy with a little downtime. He knows basic commands, is house-trained, and does great in a crate—as long as he has his collection of blankets. He’s reliable on a leash and keeps showing improvement. Kuga gets along well with other dogs, loves to play, but is equally happy coexisting peacefully. While his experience with small children is limited, he welcomed kids at a recent adoption event, greeting them with joy. Most of all, he’s a sweet, affectionate companion who appreciates attention and a good butt scratch. If you want a loyal, active dog who will match your pace, Kuga is up for the challenge.
