Sampson may look like a tough guy, but he's SO sweet and actually a little shy when you first meet him. Give him a few minutes and he warms up quickly, especially if you bribe him with yummy snacks. Sampson would do best in a home with older kids or teens, as he can get a little carried away during playtime and doesn't always realize his size. He'd benefit from some continued training to help him learn his boundaries. Sammy is a strong dog and will need someone who can confidently handle him on a leash. He's got some power behind those zoomies! In a fenced yard, though, he does great and loves to stretch his legs and run the fence line, playing with the other pound dogs. Sampson is available to foster or adopt! We can't wait for you to meet this hunky boy!
