About Roscoe
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Roscoe is new to Doberman Rescue Minnesota. This sweet, mellow Doberman is a big, gentle boy who adores snuggles, attention, and simply being close to his people. His easygoing nature shines through, yet he is still picking up his manners—when excited, he can sometimes be a bit jumpy, so a home without small children is best for him. With a strong prey drive, Roscoe is not suited for a home with cats, but he does well with female dogs or neutral smaller males. His journey hasn’t been easy—he was sadly abandoned and neglected, found alone at a pet store and in rough condition. Severely underweight and unchipped, Roscoe’s past involved long periods of confinement, but despite it all, he displays a remarkably gentle, sweet, and quiet demeanor. Currently safe in a loving foster home in Minnesota, Roscoe is becoming crate-trained and is learning the basics of leash walking. He has shown himself to be a true gentle giant, always ready for cuddles and kindness. Qualified adopters should be within an approved area, and an in-person visit with Roscoe at his foster home is required (fosters are within a 250-mile radius of Minneapolis, MN). All dogs adopted through Doberman Rescue Minnesota are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, and kept current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
