About Stubby
Stubby earned his name after an accident left him with a little stub tail—he was rescued from inside an engine and rushed for emergency care, where part of his tail needed to be amputated. Now at 14 weeks old, this black kitten is adjusting nicely. Stubby tends to be a bit shy and will often tuck himself away when someone new comes near. He isn't mean; he just needs a bit of patience to warm up. Stubby feels at ease with other cats and especially enjoys playing with kitten friends. Dogs are still a work in progress for him—he needs a gentle introduction and some time to get comfortable. His foster believes he'll do best in a home with another cat. Stubby has been microchipped, combo tested, is starting his vaccines, and has already been neutered. He’s not quite ready to go home yet but visits can be arranged. Give him some time and a little understanding, and Stubby will turn into a loyal companion. They say Leos are full of heart—Stubby lives up to the sign. Start your journey together! Apply now.
