Bubba is a 4 year old, healthy, kind who is well trained. He has spent 5 months in the New Hope for E. Oregon Animals Powder Pals Dog Program at the Powder River Correctional Facility. He is house trained, knows 15 commands and leash walks great. He is obviously very smart. His greatest attribute is his easy going demeanor. He enjoys just laying around with his person. He enjoys walks and some play but does not require the daily high activity level of some breeds. Just your commitment as his forever human partner. He is good with all people and most dogs. But not aggressive dogs. He loves people who meet him to adopt him but suffers from separation anxiety or being left alone so he should live with an at home person. He also can be protective of that at home person and needs time at home to decompress and gain trust his person will not go away. He has been trained via positive reward methods and must live under the same. Force and punishment methods will take away his happy smile and trust in humans.
