About Benny
Benny is a sharp, friendly Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever mix with a knack for adventure. At around 2 years old and 70lbs, he has grown up with his dedicated foster dad after being found wandering Houston as a puppy. Benny is easy to take anywhere—he’s leash savvy, loves long walks, and is always up for exploring new places or a game of backyard fetch. He connects well to his people and matches the energy around him, making him a great companion for both active outings and downtime at home. Social by nature, Benny loves meeting new people and especially gets along with kids. He’s quick to learn new commands and strives to please. When it comes to other dogs, Benny enjoys company but prefers a household without dominant personalities—he’s gentle in laying boundaries but won’t engage in conflict. He could thrive as an only dog or pair well with a calm canine. With cats, Benny’s experience is mostly street-side; he may need some gentle coaching if a house cat likes to run, but there’s potential for peaceful coexistence. Benny is house trained and comes neutered and fully vaccinated. He’s currently in Magnolia, TX, but transport to most US states is possible. Ready to start your next adventure with Benny?
