Bandit is a five-year-old mixed-breed (Australian Kelpie and Rottweiler) with a deep well of resilience and a truly sweet nature. He came to the shelter in rough shapeāmuddy, battered, and nursing the scars of old injuries. Despite all that, Bandit bounced back better than anyone expected. These days, heās fit and thriving, with only the occasional limp to show for his troubles. This medium-sized, short-haired guy is house trained, smart, and always eager for attention. Heās equally content entertaining himself or hanging out with peopleāespecially if thereās a good cuddle or ear scratch to be had. Bandit has a playful streak and a knack for making people smile with his silly antics. In his foster home, he proved his gentle side, taking everything in stride with kidsāincluding one with special needsāand getting along well with the family dog. Heās motivated by food, quick to learn, and adapts easily to his surroundings.
