About Hanzi T
Hanzi T is a striking German Shepherd with deep brown eyes and a mellow spirit. When his previous family could no longer keep him due to housing rules, Hanzi made the transition from outdoor life to thriving indoors. In his foster home, he's picked up excellent manners, quickly learning commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “place”—he’s attentive and wants to please. Hanzi has a gentle, loving nature, making him well-suited as a steady companion or a solid family dog. He gets along well with children as young as four, and he's relaxed around other dogs—he mostly minds his own business even in their company. Hanzi isn’t phased by other dogs during walks or at home. If someone comes to the door, he’ll give a bark to let you know, but he saves his quiet greetings for friends. Hanzi is crate trained and reliably quiet at night until it's time to get up. At almost nine years old, he has plenty of energy for walks and enjoys off-leash time, where his recall has steadily improved, though continued reinforcement will be important. Hanzi should not be placed in a home with cats. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
