Callie T. is a large German Shepherd girl in San Juan Bautista, CA, weighing about 90 lbs and roughly 10 years old. Despite her imposing size, she offers nothing but a gentle, big heart. Callie T. gets along well with dogs and older kids, mostly due to her strong frame. She’s completely house-trained and moves through life with a steady, medium energy. Like so many German Shepherds, Callie T. lights up at the mention of car rides—sometimes a little too much, needing a touch of Trazodone to help keep the excitement in check. She’s attentive and listens well, following basic commands like sit and come. Her affection comes easy, especially if you’ve got Charlee Bear treats on hand, and she’s always ready to make friends with a warm, social approach. She does have very swollen knees that cause discomfort on walks, so short distances with plenty of rests are best for her. Even with the aches, she remains stoic and patient—a classic dignified elder. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
