About Rocco
Meet Rocco! Rocco is a three-year-old, small Puggle whose big personality matches his playful energy. He can come off tough at first, but once he settles in, he’s a goofy, affectionate companion. His foster home has helped him pick up essential manners—he’s been working on commands like sit, stay, come, and loose-leash walking, and he’s fully crate trained. Excitement sometimes takes over, but consistent positive reinforcement has helped him make steady progress, and he’ll really benefit from an adopter who wants to keep that going. Rocco is happiest when he gets to run and play, and he shows real promise for small dog agility with the right encouragement. He enjoys both entertaining his people and snuggling in for downtime. After slow introductions, he mixes well with other dogs who match his active play style. He’d do just as well as a solo dog if he gets enough engagement and companionship from his humans. Because of his size, temperament, and zest for play, he’ll do best in a home with mature or older children. Rocco likes routine, and he takes a little time to warm up to new situations, so patience and consistency help him feel safe. He was found as a stray, but he’s ready for a new chapter with a family to call his own. Applicants must live in or near San Diego County, California due to home introduction requirements. Give this little guy the safe, loving home he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
