About Rhett

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Rhett, the definition of a laid-back companion! After nearly eight years, Rhett is finally enjoying the comforts of home life. He's grown particularly fond of his kennel, finding security in it during the day while his foster mom is out, and preferring to sleep there at night with the door open—always ready for a quick check-in. While his kennel remains a favorite spot, Rhett is gradually venturing out more, discovering the joys of toys and learning the perks of being social. Walks are quickly becoming a highlight of his day as he masters strolling on a leash with polite manners. Although Rhett can be grumbly with other dogs due to his tough past, his affection for people is undeniable. Everyone he meets remarks on how sweet and gentle he is. Rhett is looking for a forever family who understands the value of patience, as he continues to blossom and build his confidence in this new chapter. We adopt within 1 1/2 hours from Kansas City. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
