About Biggie
Biggie is the definition of a gentle giant. This affectionate Mastiff/St. Bernard mix will lean his whole body weight into you just for a head rub or a hug, and standing tall, he’ll easily dwarf most laps (over 5 feet when he stretches out). At about 90 pounds, he brings both size and an even bigger heart to the table. Biggie may come off shy at first, but give him time, and you’ll see sparks of playfulness and a true devotion—especially when dogs he knows are around. He’s been very tolerant of young children in the past and handles their presence with patience, though his experience with cats is a blank slate. A rough start means Biggie didn’t get much structure in his old life, so he’s searching for an adopter who already knows their way around big breeds and training—not a first-timer. He’s resource guards his food and will need guidance as he continues to settle into a regular home environment. Still, he’s eager to learn, crate-trained, house trained, and truly comes alive on walks. Seven to eight hours is the longest he should be left alone—he craves company and a steady hand. If you’re ready to put in the time and build a real bond, Biggie will reward you tenfold. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
