Banjo and his buddy Bingo arrived after their time at the pound ran out. At first, Banjo was very timid—especially around men—but he’s warmed up to women quickly and shows more of his personality every day. He can be a bit fear reactive toward men and will need someone patient to help him work through that. Banjo already knows how to sit on command and absolutely loves going on walks, though he tends to pull on the leash and could use continued leash training. He’s a big guy at about 70 pounds, all muscle and energy, classic for an Australian Cattle Dog—expect plenty of heeler quirks and playful mischief. Banjo needs a firm, experienced handler who understands the breed and does best with older children because of his energetic herding instincts.
