Buddy was surrendered to rescue because his owners were not able to contain him. He was wandering to the neighbor's and they were threatening to shoot him. Thank goodness Buddy is now safe in a foster home! 2 year old Buddy arrived at his foster home in early December and he is adjusting to a new environment. Handsome Buddy is a gentle, sweet soul. He loves pets and attention. After some contemplation, he jumped up on the bed for the first time so he could be next to his foster mom. Buddy would love a canine companion in his furever home and would be great around older kids. Buddy is: Potty trained Leash trained Good with cats Good with dogs Good with people Very sweet/affectionate Calm, low energy/activity level Takes treats gently Sleeps through the night Rides well in the car Easy to train, responds well to verbal correction Buddy weighs about 70 lbs and needs to gain some weight. He is not yet neutered but will be neutered before he can be officially adopted. He is to date on core vaccines and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
