Meet Wiley! A little over a year old and already a total heart-stealer, Wiley came to our shelter about a month ago after being surrendered through no fault of his own. Since then, he's shown us every day what a genuinely good little dog he is. Wiley has cohabitated wonderfully with multiple dogs and really enjoys their company, but he will need a cat-free home, as feline friends are not his preference. In his kennel he is impressively quiet, clean, and tidy, making him an easy dog to live with and a joy to care for. He walks very nicely on a leash and loves to get outside and explore, but his absolute favorite activity is playing ball--his happy place is anywhere he can run, chase, and show off his silly, playful side. Wiley does have a grade 1-2 heart murmur, which is not considered a medical concern. Young dogs very commonly outgrow murmurs of this level, and it does not affect his daily life, energy, or activity in any way.
