About Charlotte

Estimated date of birth: 09/20/2012 Date of arrival: 10/14/2025 Gender: Female Breed: DSH- White and Orange HISTORY: Charlotte was transferred from Nelson SPCA, along with her bonded “sister” Mosaic. MEDICAL NOTE: Charlotte has chronic URI issues. YOUTHFUL, FRIENDLY, PLAYFUL, MOST LOVABLE, SENIOR LADY!! Meet Charlotte, a lovely orange and white senior cat. She is very friendly and enjoys receiving attention and affection from people. Charlotte is quite comfortable being held. Despite her age, Charlotte has a youthful spirit that shines through her interactions, especially when a new person enters the room. Her eyes light up with curiosity, and she never shies away from making new friends. However, she does experience chronic URI symptoms, primarily manifesting as sneezing. Charlotte is also known for her playful nature, often batting at toys with surprising agility for her age. She absolutely loves taking a turn playing with wand toys! Charlotte arrived with her inseparable “sister,” Mosaic, with whom she has spent most of her life. Although they are currently in separate condos, they were transferred from the Nelson County SPCA, where they shared a room, often relaxing together on a bed and grooming one another. While Charlotte has yet to explore beyond her condo here at the sanctuary, the Nelson County SPCA shared that she interacts well with other cats and often joined their kittens during playtime. Their bond is truly remarkable, showcasing years of companionship and affection. Mosaic, a striking calico, complements Charlotte’s gentle nature with her own playful spirit. Together, they create a perfect pair, each enhancing the other’s unique qualities. For anyone considering adopting Charlotte and Mosaic, rest assured that these two will bring double the joy and companionship. Their combined presence is sure to create an atmosphere of warmth and laughter, making every day a little brighter.
