About Muffin
Muffin is looking for someone patient and understanding to help her become the cat she’s meant to be. She’s a gray, adult Domestic Short Hair who came in from a local colony, along with her friends Noodle, Gomez, Pugsley, Tully, Chickpea, and Pancake, just before the cold arrived. Muffin was part of a TNR effort but, being young, deserved a shot at something more. Muffin is wary of people and still hisses or growls when approached. For now, hands-off visits are best—she may strike if she feels threatened. She’s not warmed much to attention despite the time invested at the rescue, but she’s being set up in a more cat-friendly space where she can observe and decompress. She gets along with other cats, but will need an adopter with a lot of feline experience—someone patient who understands that Muffin is a long-term project. Earning her trust will take real time and commitment, but the reward of watching her confidence grow could be worth the wait. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
