About Floyd
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Floyd's journey began with hardship, having been discovered living under a shed in the freezing cold behind a rest stop in New Canaan. With his unique 'bum ear,' much like his boxer namesake, Floyd came into rescue wary and distrustful of people. Over time, he has slowly settled in and started to enjoy his own safe space, though he remains cautious, especially around hands and even the occasional sneaker! Floyd is undeniably charming in his own way, but will thrive in a calm, patient environment where he can take things at his own pace. He is a good boy who needs a gentle indoor home and an understanding person willing to let him just be himself. Given his rough beginning, Floyd will need time and space to open up, but with kindness, he is sure to reward patience. At just three years old, Floyd has so much life and love ahead of him. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
