About Darius
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Who could resist a sweet chunk of chocolate like Darius? He’s a handsome large Labrador Retriever with a heart-melting blend of affectionate cuddler and playful companion. Though his early days weren’t easy, Darius has blossomed into a dog who adores scritches, being near his people, and following you anywhere. He was rescued from a hoarding situation, so he may be shy at first, but patience will be rewarded with a dog who melts right into your side. Darius loves other dogs, enjoys playing with toys, and is already house trained. Crates aren’t his favorite, but he settles in calmly when needed and sleeps through the night on his cozy dog bed. Eager for treats and learning manners, he’s working on gentle greetings—his enthusiastic tail wags and hugs just show how happy he is to see you! Overflowing with love, this big-hearted boy is ready to bring happiness and warmth to your home. If you’re craving a little extra sweetness in your life, Darius may be just the new buddy you need. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
