About Bubba
Bubba is a gentle, sensitive Great Dane living in Bullard, TX, whose quiet presence says more than words ever could. At six, he’s working through the hurts of his past, but shines when he’s outside, roaming a yard or watching the world pass by from a peaceful spot. He absolutely thrives with canine friends—other dogs bring out his playful side, and he’s happiest when he has a buddy around. Indoors, Bubba prefers his comfortable kennel, sleeping soundly at night and tackling each day as a new beginning. Although life still makes him flinch at sudden sounds or quick movements, there’s an undeniable sweetness and soft humor in him. He’ll lean in for back scratches when he trusts you, sometimes chimes in with a little howl when he wants company, and tends to "talk" at the back door when he’s feeling bold. Bubba isn’t likely to be the dog who jumps on the couch, but he’ll quietly ripple joy through your home just by being himself. He is fully crate-trained, picks up leash skills, and is easygoing around chickens and possibly cats. Bubba would do best in a calm home (no little kids, please), with a fenced yard and another friendly dog to help him settle in. Patience and understanding are key—he’s ready to offer trust and gentle loyalty to the right person willing to give him space and time. If you’re seeking a dog with hope in his eyes and a world of affection to share, Bubba is waiting for you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Bubba
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Bubba, like most Great Danes, needs a calm, stable environment with enough space to stretch out and relax. Homes with securely fenced yards where he can safely roam are preferred.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Great Danes like Bubba benefit from a sizable yard, especially since they enjoy lounging and occasional bursts of play outside. Apartment living is usually too cramped for their size and temperament.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Bubba gets along with children, but because Great Danes are large and can be sensitive, they're generally best with older, gentle kids who understand how to respect a dog's space.
