Rex is a looking for a foster or forever home to call his own. He's super smart and knows basic commands like sit, shake, drop it and wait. What a clever guy! Rex loves other dogs and was a playgroup star at the shelter. He would be thrilled to have a doggy sibling to play with. Black dogs aren't adopted as frequently as their lighter colored counter parts, unfortunately. It's called Black Dog Syndrome - google it! Don't let Rex get overlooked because of his fur color - black is beautiful! Rex is eager to learn and please! He thrives with structure and discipline. Rex is still polishing his leash manners, but is the perfect student. He would do best in an active home that could provide daily enrichment, training and play.
