Skye was pulled out from under a shed as a baby, where she was dealing with the summer heat. She’s grown into a very shy but incredibly curious young cat. Around people, Skye tends to hang back, but she’ll often edge closer, especially if Churu treats are on offer—she’ll take them straight from your hand once she feels safe. She isn’t one for quick cuddles and keeps pets on her own terms; catching her for a scratch takes some patience. But with time, she’s started to get a little braver. When no one’s watching, she’s energetic and playful with other cats, hinting that she might really benefit from a more outgoing feline friend by her side. Skye would do best with a gentle, patient family committed to helping her continue to come out of her shell.
