About Birch
Birch: The Southern Gentleman of the Enchanted Forest If Mark Twain and a Disney forest sprite teamed up to design a dog, they'd have invented Birch. Born in March 2025 beneath the shade of some mythic magnolia, this Treeing Walker Coonhound/Lab mix is equal parts storybook hero and backyard comedian. He's 100% charm, 0% subtlety, and has the emotional range of a Shakespearean actor trapped in a puppy's body. Birch is the kind of pup who believes every stick is Excalibur and every puddle holds his reflection like destiny itself. He bounds through life like a kid who's had one too many sweet teas-goofy, joyful, unfiltered. Fetch? He's your champion. Tug-of-war? Your nemesis. Snuggle time? Your weighted blanket with a heartbeat. But don't mistake all that charm for polish-our boy's still working on his puppy manners. He's in that delightful in-between stage of "brilliant" and "oops." His adopter will need to continue guiding him toward greatness (and away from sock theft). Luckily, he's eager to learn, powered by snacks, and will gaze at you with eyes so sincere you'll forgive every misstep. Once upon a time, Birch faced a dark chapter-a parvo scare that nearly stole his tale before it began. But our Woodland Wonder conquered it with grit, gumption, and possibly a touch of forest magic. Now he's healthy, happy, and ready to enchant his forever family. So if you're longing for adventure, laughter, and unconditional love wrapped in floppy ears and forest mischief-don't wait for the moon to rise. Adopt Birch - and let the legend begin. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed. ***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures.
