She started out on the shy side when she arrived in foster care, having come from a situation where she didn't get much socialization as a kitten. Because of this, she's cautious around new people, but once she feels safe, she relaxes and reveals a gentle, affectionate nature. Lillibet becomes engaged and active when she trusts you; she’ll even seek out your lap or let you hold her if you take it slow. She communicates with a sweet, soft voice—especially when she's reminding you about wet food. High-up spots like the cat tower give her security and a good view to monitor her world. Lillibet would really do best in a home without small children, or with older kids who understand how to give her space while she adjusts. She has always had feline company, so she’s ideally matched with another friendly, well-adjusted cat.
