About Joey
Joey is a 5-year-old sweetheart whose resilience shows in every soft meow. After losing her family to an international move and nearly being euthanized in a shelter due to her fear, she got a second chance—and she's ready to make the most of it. Joey has a gentle, loving personality and is friendly once she's settled. She enjoys lounging in the sun, birdwatching from the window, and chasing wand toys or catnip mice. Cuddle time is important to her, and she’s been known to curl up right in bed with her person. Her activity level is perfectly balanced: playful when inspired, but content to relax as well. She hasn't lived with children or other pets, so a peaceful, quiet home suits her best. Joey needs a bit of patience and understanding, but once she feels secure, her true affectionate nature appears. A calm environment and a kind adopter are all she asks for—a soft place to land and a safe forever home. Joey was born July 1, making her a sensitive and nurturing Cancer—true to her loving spirit. Your new best friend is just one click away.
