Elton is a three-year-old mastiff mix with a big personality and even bigger heart. He’s playful, loving, and happiest when he’s hanging out with his people or romping around with his favorite toys. Elton is housebroken and leash trained, knows his basic commands, and is comfortable using a dog door. He gets along well with children over eight who have dog experience and may do well with a large female dog, provided introductions are slow and deliberate. Cats are an unknown for him. Elton hates being crated or confined, but he’s not destructive—so long as he’s not penned in, he does just fine. Elton is heartworm positive but has already begun treatment and will head home with all the meds and clear instructions needed to finish up. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a family committed to his care.
