About Lucinda
Click apply to start the adoption process. Lucinda, lovingly called Lucy, is a spirited and high-energy cat who truly thrives on playtime. Interactive wand toys are a top delight for her, and she's quick to chase after anything you move—especially if you join in the fun! Left to her own devices, she keeps herself entertained with ping-pong balls, pipe cleaners, and animated mouse toys, always putting her curious energy to good use. Lucy is a climber at heart, often found surveying her kingdom from the fridge or a tall piece of furniture; a lofty cat tree would suit her perfectly. This playful girl is also magnificently affectionate. You'll find Lucy napping comfortably on a lap or greeting her foster as soon as they walk through the door. While she's a bit shy at first with newcomers, she warms up swiftly and soon wants to be part of every family activity—even your computer work sessions. Her balance between energetic zoomies and peaceful window watching keeps things interesting, as does her need to be at the center of household action. Do keep in mind Lucy can become overstimulated and might give light nips if petted too much, often showing her affection with gentle hand-bites, especially during lap time. She also has an eye for houseplants and counters, so only cat-safe plants should be kept in her home. Lucy would thrive in surroundings that appreciate her playful and engaging nature and have time for daily interactive play, making her a great fit for homes with kids, other pets, or generally lively households. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
