About Shelby

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Shelby is a sweet 3-year-old girl who has been through so much already. After being adopted and finding love, she lost her person unexpectedly, leaving her alone and boarded at a kennel in Spring Valley, San Diego. Through no fault of her own, Shelby waited and waited, but no one returned for her. Underneath her shy and timid nature is a gentle dog longing to feel safe and cherished again. She has spent far too long in a kennel environment and is hoping for a patient, kind-hearted person who will offer her the warm, stable home she deserves. The Heroic Tail Rescue has stepped in to help Shelby find her forever family and, to support her transition, is offering free training to help her adjust and build confidence. If you have room in your heart and home for Shelby, she is ready to begin again. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
